OFFLOAD

Getting a pallet off the lorry.

Sheets are heavy and come on pallets — so how they're unloaded matters. Tell us about your site and we send the right truck.

OFFLOAD OPTIONS

Three ways off the truck.

Forklift on site

Fastest and cheapest. If you've a forklift at your end, the driver hands the pallet straight over.

Tail-lift

A powered platform lowers the pallet to the ground. Needs firm, level access at the drop point.

HIAB / Moffett

A crane or truck-mounted forklift that places the pallet for you. Best for restricted or awkward access.

WHERE IT GOES

Kerbside vs on-site.

Kerbside

Dropped at the nearest safe roadside point. The standard for tail-lift deliveries.

On-site

Placed within the site where access allows — usually a HIAB or Moffett job.

What we need from you

At checkout we ask a few quick questions so we send the right vehicle: your postcode, any access notes, the offload method, where the pallet should be placed, your preferred delivery window, and a site contact. Two minutes that save a wasted delivery.

OFFLOAD FAQS

Common questions.

I don't know what my site needs — what should I pick?

Call us before you order on 020 3987 3667 and we'll talk it through. It's quicker than guessing.

What if the driver can't unload?

Choose the right offload at checkout and that won't happen. If a delivery is refused or the offload doesn't match the site, see our Returns & Refunds page for refused-delivery fees.

NOT SURE?
